More than P2 million worth of suspected shabu were seized from a suspected drug pusher in an anti-illegal drug operation in Antipolo City early Wednesday morning.

The suspect, identified only as alias Unyo, 43, a car dealer and resident of ML Quezon, Barangay San Roque, Antipolo City, was tagged as a high-value target.

Unyo was arrested by anti-narcotics operatives of the Antipolo City Police Station, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), around 2:15 AM in the said barangay.

Seized from him were two heat-sealed sachets and three knot-tied sachets of suspected shabu, a cellular phone, a black pouch, and the marked money.

A total of approximately 310 grams of suspected illegal drugs with an estimated street value of P2,108,000 were confiscated during the operation.

The suspect is currently detained at the Antipolo City Police Station custodial facility and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
