MARIA AURORA, Aurora — The Provincial Government and the local government of this town started the construction of a new building for the Maria Aurora public market during a groundbreaking ceremony here Tuesday.
Executive Assistant IV Reynante K. Tolentino Jr., who represented Governor Reynante A. Tolentino, and Mayor Ariel S. Bitong led the ceremony for the phase 1 of the Maria Aurora Public Market.
The new infrastructure has an allotted budget of P24,998,416.28 from the 20 percent development fund of the provincial government as a show of support and answering the needs of the residents of Maria Aurora for a better public market.
According to Mayor Bitong, the project was acknowledged by Governor Tolentino, as well as the implementation of other projects and additional infrastructure projects of the said town.
EA Tolentino said that the provincial government aims to reciprocate the trust of the people of Maria Aurora by providing better public service, and answering to the needs of its constituents. The said projects will help the livelihood of the residents of the eight towns, with the help of the LGU.
Vice Mayor-elect Eric Cordova, Councilor Elizabeth Farin, DILG LGOO VII Ariel G. Espinosa, municipal fire marshall FCI Insp. Cesario Nalupa, Teresita delos Trinos, and Engineer Neneng H. Pantalunan, engineer I and representative of the Provincial Engineering Officer were on hand during the event.
