ORANI, Bataan — Century Peak Holdings Corp., led by businessman Wilfredo “Willy” D. Keng, is considering investing in Bataan.
This development came after Keng, the company’s chairperson, president, and chief executive officer, personally visited Northern Bataan on Saturday upon the invitation of Representative Abet Garcia and Mayor Jopet Inton.
Keng is also the president of Century Hua Guang Smelting Inc., Century Peak Corp., Colony Investors Inc., Balikbayan Shopping Mall Corp., Carriedo Plaza Mall, Century Summit Carrier Inc., Good Earth Plaza and U-Need Shopping Center and the chairperson of Century Sidewide Smelting Inc.
“To boost the coordination between local government and the investors who will strengthen commerce and industry to generate more employment in the towns of Hermosa and Orani, yours truly and Congressman Garcia presented (business opportunities) to Mr. Willy Keng of Century Peak Holdings,” Mayor Inton, also a businessman himself, said.
Also into malls
Century Peak is engaged in general construction and related activities, land reclamation and development, mining and power.
Keng’s other interests include shopping malls and real estate in China and the Philippines.
Keng personally visited various facilities in Orani, including the rice mill and the fish landing area, with his staff.
