LIVE UPDATES: President Marcos requests courtesy resignations of cabinet secretaries

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday called on all Cabinet secretaries to submit their courtesy resignations to allow a “recalibration” of his administration following the ruling coalition’s disappointing performance in the 2025 midterm elections.

As of 7:07PM, 31 Cabinet officials have expressed their willingness to submit courtesy resignations in line with the President’s directive:
