City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The Department of Health Central Luzon Center for Health Development (DOH CLCHD) led the regional sign-up for the Healthy Workplace Program (HWP) on 16 May 2025.

According to DOH, the HWP is under Joint Administrative Order No. 2023-0001 and in collaboration with the Civil Service Commission and the Department of Labor and Employment, with representatives from their respective Regional Offices also present at the activity.

Called the Regional Sign-Up, the event aims to expand the number of organizations committed to creating healthy workplaces for their employees.

National government agencies, local government units, and private stakeholders in Central Luzon were present during the event.

"A Healthy workplace is more than just a productive workspace. It is a place where individuals feel safe, valued, and supported," CLCHD Regional Director Corazon Flores said.

She added that today's commitment marks a collective step towards building a more resilient workforce.

"By signing today we create an environment that is equipped to meet future challenges and is anchored on a culture of care and well-being," Flores cited.

The HWP is part of the DOH's Healthy Settings program. Its clear mission is to make healthy behaviors the easier choice for everyone, every time, and everywhere.
