Local developer Hospitality Innovators Inc. is set to open its first property in the island of Siargao.
The development’s inspiration comes from the waters of the gigantic island’s waves and natural surroundings. Designed with a balance of typhoon resiliency and use of natural materials, and laid out to encourage island vibe interaction between people, Hue Hotels and Resorts Siargao enables tourists and locals to enjoy the view and the restful place after a day of adventure with the waves.
“What you’re hearing people say more is ‘I would like to really experience this’ or ‘I’d like to immerse myself in that.’ I think today, more and more people want to invest in creating experiences and making lasting memories,” HII founder and chief executive officer Luis Monserrat said.
Located within 200 meters of Guyam Island and 10 km of Naked Island, Hue Hotels and Resorts Siargao offers 30 rooms in General Luna. The units are equipped with a kettle and a private bathroom.
Monserrat adds that expansion is in the pipeline once power stabilizes.
The property is non-smoking and is set a few steps from the General Luna Beach. Magpupungko Rock Pools is 35 km from the accommodation. Sayak Airport is 30 km away.
“More and more of the young people today are likely to want to experience life and the world, as opposed to, perhaps or in line with acquiring the latest fashions or the latest gadgets. Our core strategy and strength really play to that,” Monserrat adds.
HII will also open Costa Solana Quezon in Pagbilao sometime in the fourth quarter of the year. Hue Hotels and Resorts Siargao, meanwhile, will open in July.
Apart from boutique hotels and resorts, HII also manages properties geared toward the residential market for students, families, and young professionals. These residential condominiums and condormitels are strategically located near prestigious universities and business centers around Manila.
