Aside from the restaurant, guests can enjoy the lanai and outdoor pools, fitness center and spa.

“The gym, which is being renovated now, will have a bigger training area,” general manager Gabey Abril told DAILY TRIBUNE.

The tent area, with a current capacity of 350 persons, will be increased to accommodate 600. Behind it will be the tennis and basketball courts. A kid’s play area is also on the way.

“We’re also adding wine lounge and another function hall that’s good for 80 people,” Abril said.

In addition to Pastorelli and Robusta Café, PonteFino is eyeing to open soon a Chinese restaurant within the estate.

Business and leisure

Enjoy a condo-living stay at The Terraces, fully-furnished suites with a working kitchen, a receiving area and a balcony with a view.

“PonteFino opened in 2004. Initially the plan is to just have the hotel within the 2500 sqm of land. For the first two years it was a bit of a challenge. SM and The Star Tollway were not even opened,” Abril recalled.

Then, the desire to offer much more to guests persevered.

“We pivoted. The president and the board decided to add lands and develop it into residential areas. That turned out to be the Terraces,” she said.

All suite rooms became extensions of the hotel. When the Terraces opened, 98 rooms were added to the hotel inventory.

IT Park

PonteFino Estates’ The Forum I.T. Business Park is envisioned to be the next central business district of Batangas.

The 4.26-hectare commercial township, poised to become a central hub for business and IT-related industries, commercial and retail business owners, is the first real estate development in Batangas City to receive certification from the Philippine Economic Zone Authority of the Department of Trade and Industry as an Information Technology business hub.

The Forum will be built around the needs of technology-incentive companies engaged in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO), and will likewise feature commercial and retail hubs. As a PEZA-certified IT business park, IT-related business owners can enjoy perks and incentives for locators, such as tax holidays up to 10 years, customs duties exemption and other tax exemption.

“Eventually we try to develop and increase the market reach, from initially tapping corporate accounts. Now it is set towards the market from Manila like couples and families. Since there’s a lot of companies settled in Batangas, there’s also expats. Business travelers,” Abril said.

Target date of The Forum is December 2028.
