I joined the EPCALM Foundation on its 20th year, marking this milestone with their first-ever Hope Gala! They are the first and only non-profit in the country that provides comprehensive support for leukemia patients. Imagine the impact they have made in 20 years! And you know me, I love any reason to party! But for EPCALM, there’s a great cause to have a gala.
So it was just right that what we experienced was a night of OPM royalty. It was like a mini concert of the greats! Martin Nievera, Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez and Top Suzara all graced us with their iconic vocal talent. And our host? Well, the King of Talk himself, Boy Abunda! Absolutely great entertainment.
We heard from several key representatives, including Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, who also happens to be a member of the Honorary Board of Trustees. Other board members were presented as well, being given the recognition they deserve for this mission. EPCALM is committed to making sure no one faces the grueling fight against leukemia alone.
It was an evening brimming with hope! What a beautiful night at the Grand Ballroom of Solaire Resort North in Quezon City. And what a way to kick off your inaugural ball, EPCALM! Huge congratulations are in order to Sunny Ku, the team and the entire organization. You have a supporter in me! Cheers!
