The Bureau of Customs (BoC) continues to post strong revenue performance under the leadership of Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio, with the Port of Limay contributing significantly to national collections.

For the first quarter of 2025, the Port of Limay collected P31.9 billion, exceeding its target of P31.42 billion. This resulted in a surplus of P475.58 million, or a 1.51 percent positive deviation.

“This achievement reflects the port’s dedication to the Commissioner’s 5-Point Priority Program, which focuses on digitalization, secure trade facilitation, enhanced border protection, optimized revenue collection, and strengthened organizational development,” said Port of Limay District Collector Atty. Kriden Balgomera.

The strong April 2025 performance of the Port of Limay further boosted BoC’s overall collections. The port reported a total collection of P11,361,590,005.93, surpassing its target of P10,458,293,095.35.

This translated to a surplus of P903,296,910.58 or a positive deviation of 8.64 percent.

The Port of Limay attributed its success to efficient revenue collection, strengthened enforcement measures and continued support from stakeholders.
