The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced Tuesday that 46,470 individuals passed the Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) held last 2 March which represents 14.57 percent of the total number of examinees.
Of those who passed, 42,472 qualified for the Civil Service Professional eligibility, while 3,998 obtained the Subprofessional eligibility.
Civil service eligibility, along with the necessary education, experience, training, and other competency standards, can qualify individuals for permanent appointments in suitable government positions.
A total of 287,250 individuals took the Professional Level exam, with 42,472 passing, yielding a passing rate of 14.79 percent.
Meanwhile, 3,998 out of 31,727 examinees passed the Subprofessional Level exam, resulting in a passing rate of 12.60 percent.
