Eala,Gauff blast Italians

Alex Eala and Coco Gauff looked unstoppable as they breezed past home bets Tyra Grant and Lisa Pigato, 6-2, 6-3, in the Round of 16 of the Italian Open at the Stadio Nicola Pietrangeli in Rome Tuesday evening (Manila time).

Eala and Gauff dispatched their Italian foes in one hour and six minutes as they continue their hunt for the women's doubles crown.

The Filipino and American duu will face another pair of Italians in Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini in the quarterfinal on Wednesday.
