46K+ new eligibles pass Civil Service Exams

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) on Tuesday announced that 46,470 examinees passed the Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) held on 2 March 2025, posting an overall passing rate of 14.57 percent.

A total of 287,250 individuals took the Professional Level exam, with 42,472 passing, or 14.79 percent. Of the 31,727 examinees for the Subprofessional Level, 3,998 passed, marking a 12.60 percent pass rate.

Civil service eligibility qualifies individuals for permanent appointments to government positions, alongside other requirements such as education, training, and work experience.

The National Capital Region recorded the highest passing rate at 19.73 percent, with 9,139 passers out of 46,312 examinees. It was followed by Region V (Bicol) at 19.30 percent, Region IV-A (CALABARZON) at 18.75 percent, Region II (Cagayan Valley) at 17.74 percent, and the Cordillera Administrative Region at 15.54 percent.

Starting 17 May, examinees can view their individual ratings through the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS) on the CSC website. No physical reports will be mailed.

The CSC emphasized that results are final and non-reviewable, and that no rechecking or rounding adjustments will be made.
