A field of 144 players is expected when the 2nd El Presidente Cup tees off on 13 June at Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club in Carmona, Cavite.

Basketball legend Ramon Fernandez expressed gratitude for the strong support from golfers, sponsors, and friends rallying behind the event, which raises funds for the Ramon S. Fernandez Sports and Youth Development Foundation.

A lively mix of celebrity golfers from entertainment, sports, business, and politics have confirmed participation, ensuring a fun and competitive day on the fairways.

“I am overwhelmed and grateful for the incredible support we are receiving,” said Fernandez, a four-time PBA Most Valuable Player and former Philippine Sports Commission commissioner. “After the success of last year’s El Presidente Cup in Cebu, we’re expecting another sold-out event — this time, with even more excitement and heart.”

The foundation’s first beneficiary is 16-year-old David Charles Serdeña, a promising golfer and son of a caddie at the Philippine Navy Golf Club. Serdeña is preparing for three major events in the US: the FCG International in Pala Mesa, the USWING Tournament in San Diego, and the FCG Tournament in Palm Desert.

“To support a young talent like Charles Serdeña before he represents our country abroad is truly a blessing,” Fernandez said. “This is what our foundation is about: Opening doors for those who dare to dream.”

Registration is P5,000 for members and P10,000 for non-members, inclusive of green fee, cart sharing, giveaways, caddie fee, lunch, and a raffle coupon. Entertainment will be provided by OPM icons Side A, Ella Mae Saison and Chad Borja.

Hole-in-one prizes include a Mitsubishi Mirage, Jetour Ice Cream EV, P100,000 cash, and a four-day stay at the Marriott International Renaissance Nusa Dua Resort in Bali.

Participants will also have the chance to win raffle prizes, including a brand-new CPMMoto150SC motorcycle, round-trip tickets to San Francisco, home appliances, gadgets, luxury watches, golf gear, luggage, hotel stays, and exclusive El Presidente memorabilia.
