Sharon Cuneta turned emotional when she took the mic during the mediacon tendered by the Monteverde’s headed by Regal Entertainment’s Roselle Monteverde for her husband, senatoriable Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan.
Cuneta’s heart bleeds whenever she reads fake news about her husband. She doesn’t know why the bashing does not stop even when all there was to it was disinformation.
“Why don’t you like to vote for Kiko? What are your doubts against him? Because all the lies you put against him, we have all the receipts to prove against it. We have proofs to all the defamation against him,” Cuneta asked in Filipino.
“We were raised properly by our parents. I’m so blessed to have a husband like Kiko. I prayed to have a husband who will not hurt me. We didn’t enrich ourselves in politics. He’s served for over two decades. I’m 59. I still work. He still works for our children,” she said.
Pangilinan believes that free breakfasts for public school students will help children absorb more in their studies.
“There are public school with free meals. You will see in the result that if there are free schools, meals, they continue on. They have better performance in Math, Science tests compared to those who don’t have free school meals. To address that, we must have breakfast for pre-school, elementary and high school in all public schools,” Pangilinan said in Filipino.
Pangilinan said that the produce — vegetables, pork, chicken, eggs — should be bought from local farmers to inspire them to produce more.
A source gave us an exclusive ringside view of how Kobe Paras reportedly behaved during his stay at Kyline Alcantara’s home.
“Maybe I can share with you this one re the Alcantara family being a toxic family. How could it be? Ang family setting nina Ky is the typical closely-knitted provincial family. Yung sabay-sabay kumain (they eat together), should follow the rules ng parents, and since wala silang katulong (they have no helpers), everyone does his/her domestic responsibility. The brothers and Ky are like this,” the source said.
“But Kobe has different values… brat and ‘burara, dun natu-toxic ang parents ni Ky (that’s what makes Ky’s parents feel toxic),” the source continues.
“There’s one incident pa nga na while nasa hapag-kainan (in the dining table), Kobe kept on using his phone, at sinita sya ni Ky na nakakahiya sa parents nya (and Ky reprimanded him because it was embarassing to her parents). What Kobe did was biglang umalis sa kanyang upuan (he abruptly left his seat), went to sit in the sala and watched TV (in pensive mood). Just like that,” the source related.
Any comment, Kobe?
