City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has been placed on Full Alert Status from 3 to 15 May 2025, in preparation for the 2025 midterm elections.
PRO3 regional director Police Brigadier General Jean S. Fajardo disclosed that the directive — issued by the Philippine National Police (PNP) headquarters — aims to ensure peaceful, orderly and clean elections in Central Luzon.
“We are cooperating with the Commission on Elections, the Armed Forces of the Philippines and other government agencies to ensure the safety of our citizens on election day,” Fajardo said. “The peace of the election is the peace of the nation.”
The Full Alert Status includes the deployment of additional police officers to identified election areas of concern and voting centers in the provinces of Bulacan, Nueva Ecija and Pampanga.
Quick Reaction Forces and Reactionary Standby Support Forces are also on standby to respond to any emergencies that may arise during the election period.
Also, the PRO3 has assured 24/7 monitoring operations, with intelligence units actively working to identify and address any security threats.
The regional police are urging the public to remain vigilant and cooperate with authorities, refrain from spreading false information and immediately report any suspicious activities that may disrupt the elections.
“The election is not only the responsibility of the government, but of every Filipino citizen,” Fajardo said. “Let us work together to safeguard our democracy.”
Police stations across the region are on alert to receive public reports and ensure the peaceful implementation of election laws.
