Team Liquid PH capped off their regular season with a dominant 2-0 sweep over Aurora on Week 8, Day 2 of MPL Season 15, held Saturday at Green Sun Hotel in Makati.
The victory not only secured the top seed for Team Liquid PH but also allowed KarlTzy, Oheb, Sanford, Jaypee, and Sanji to avenge one of their two regular season losses before heading into the Playoffs.
“What we practiced, we were able to execute in the tournament,” said Team Liquid PH roamer Jaypee Dela Cruz after the match.
The win earned Team Liquid PH an upper bracket spot in the Playoffs, meaning they must lose twice before facing elimination.
With a 12-2 record, Team Liquid PH wrapped up their regular season campaign at the top.
