Anti-drug operatives of the Northern Police District conducted simultaneous drug operations on Thursday and Friday, which resulted in the arrest of eight individuals.
In Caloocan City, four individuals were netted by the operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Caloocan City Police, under the leadership of Police Lieutenant Restie Mables.
The buy-bust operation occurred in Barangay 18 early Friday morning.

Personnel of the Caloocan City Police recovered an estimated 50 grams of suspected shabu, which were placed in five small heat-sealed plastic sachets.
“It was found out that Kosa, who is the target of our operation, dispenses his supply of illegal drugs to his sister, Bekbek,” Mables said.
He added that the two live-in partners are believed to be the main source of the illegal drugs.
The suspects are also allegedly supplying illegal drugs within South Caloocan.

Operatives recovered 35 grams of suspected shabu from alias “Otan,” which has a street value of P238,000.
“The suspect sells the illegal drugs through GCash, which makes it a newer type of transaction,” said Police Major Jeraldson Rivera, head of the NPD-DDEU.
Rivera added that their investigation disclosed the illegal drugs were being delivered to the suspect through a courier rider.
Still in Malabon City, a high-value individual was arrested in Dulong Roque, Barangay Tonsuya, after 30.4 grams of suspected shabu, worth P206,000, were recovered.
