In exasperation perhaps as her son Kobe Paras became a dartboard for bashing after his breakup with Kyline Alcantara, Jackie Forster took to social media to explain what transpired between the ex-couple.
In a 15-minute reel on Instagram, Forster said that what broke the camel’s back was when Alcantara physically assaulted her son while she was in a rage.
Initially, Forster said that all she wanted was to keep things under the lid but when the issue swirled to unimaginable situation, she deemed it wise to stop the billowing controversies, more so that her other son, Andre Paras, has been unwittingly dragged into the issue for defending his brother.
“Even Andre is getting bashed for standing up for his brother. He’s the kindest human you’ll ever meet and doesn’t deserve any of this,” Forster said.
Forster revealed that Alcantara’s team supposedly asked Kobe’s father, Benjie Paras, to deny the couple’s separation rumors because of their endorsement contracts.
“So much of this mess could have been avoided if people on Kyline’s team didn’t ask Benjie to tell the public that they were still okay. Why couldn’t they admit it? Because of contracts,” she revealed.
Jackie addresses Alcantara’s gripes against her son.
“Kapal daw ng mukha, gamit pa ang sasakyan niya (He’s thick-faced, using her car). First of all, pinahiram mo ‘yung (you lent your) car because his car was being repaired. He didn’t use to cheat because he didn’t cheat,” she said, stressing that her son is comfortable in using cab hailing apps.
Forster defended her son from freeloading rumors.
“He was there because you asked and he stayed because he wanted to try, trying to make it work. You always check his phone. He allowed you to,” she said.
But what broke the camel’s back, according to Forster, was when Alcantara physically assaulted her son.
“You were grabbing his phone and you physically assaulted him and in a manner that was provoking. Why? Why would you do that? Why would you put Kobe in that position? Why do you need to be violent?” she revealed.
Forster claims she has more evidence to reveal should Alcantara decides to fight back.
“If you’re a victim, you’re the victim of your own doing. Your actions have consequences. For someone who is supposed to be a mental health advocate, it bothers me to know that you have been playing with Kobe’s mental health throughout your relationship,” Forster said.
