Senatorial candidate Camille Villar expressed her gratitude to Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Yap for endorsing her candidacy, further solidifying Boholano support for her Senate bid in the upcoming May elections.
During her visit to the Saulog Festival in Tagbilaran over the weekend, Villar paid tribute to the city’s patron saint, St. Joseph the Worker, whom she described as a symbol of perseverance, loyalty and faith.
“Today, we dedicate this celebration to St. Joseph the Worker — a symbol of hard work, loyalty and faith. May he inspire us all as we face life’s challenges, in our work, and in caring for our families and communities,” Villar said.
She added, “That same inspiration fuels my commitment to public service. I stand with you in the goal of further developing tourism and creating more livelihood opportunities for our fellow Boholanos.”
Villar also pledged to champion infrastructure projects that will help boost tourism and drive economic growth in the province.
“Together, let us work toward realizing the dreams and aspirations of the people of Tagbilaran and the entire province of Bohol for sustained progress and development,” she said.
