Omega has taken a significant step toward securing a coveted final playoff spot at MPL Season 15 after a crucial win over Twisted Minds on Week 7, Day 1 of the regular season, this Friday at Green Sun Hotel in Makati.
After splitting the first two games, Omega drafted the newest hero, Kalea, with Ling in the jungle, supported by Gatotkaca, Zhuxin, and Granger.
Omega delivered a dominant performance, utilizing four meta heroes in its lineup. In just 11 minutes, Omega secured the series, with Andoryuuu's Ling earning MVP honors with a flawless 7/0/5 KDA.
"We just remind each other that even if we lose, as long as we know we gave our best, we will be okay," said Omega gold laner Jowm after the match. "We did not take a break during the Holy Week."
With just two weeks remaining in the regular season, the final playoff spot remains up for grabs between Omega, Twisted Minds, and AP Bren.
