Brunei, Phl firms cement cash security venture

The joint venture company will focus on enhanced cash security solutions, particularly secure cash transportation services.

Aegis Secure Solutions Corp. (Aegis Corp.), a subsidiary of Aegis Sdn Bhd of Brunei and Eagle Corinthians Integrated Security (Corinthians) of the Philippines signed a joint venture to provide comprehensive cash secure solutions in the Philippines.

The joint venture company will focus on enhanced cash security solutions, particularly secure cash transportation services.

It will leverage advanced software technology and local insight to deliver customized solutions for customers.

Both companies are committed to upholding the industry’s highest standards of professionalism, integrity and innovation.

The agreement was signed by Dato Ahmad Bin Isa, chairman of Aegis Group Brunei; Jorge Francisco Vega, president of Aegis Corp.; along with directors Nur Khadijah Binti Ahmad and Gerald Radar G. Josue. Corinthians was represented by Noel Bongat, chairperson; Noel Bongat, president; Bernadette Nicetas Bongat, treasurer; director Bong Cruz and counsel Alex Cruz.

Cash-secure services

In the welcoming speech, Dato Ahmad bin Isa stated, “Today is the start of a new chapter of a strategic alliance that brings together the best of what each of us has to offer. With Corinthians’ resources, deep local roots, and expertise in cash-secure solutions, we are confident that this partnership will drive growth and deliver cutting-edge cash-secure solutions.”

Bongat echoed this sentiment, saying that each party complements each other to provide a full line of one-stop-shop cash management service. “We provide the armored vehicle, security services and local network of potential clients while Aegis provides their expertise and technology in cash center operations and cash secure solutions.”
