Limay, Bataan — Police authorities arrested a suspected drug dealer and seized over ₱1.19 million worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Reformista, Limay on Thursday night.
The suspect, identified as Bradley Jay Lisanin, 28, a sound system operator and resident of Upper Tundol, was tagged as a "high-value individual" (HVI) by the Bataan Provincial Police Office.
His arrest marks a significant development in the province’s intensified anti-drug campaign led by Bataan police director Col. Marites A. Salvadora.
According to Limay police chief Major Jimmy Albert A. Decin, the operation took place around 8:00 p.m., with an undercover officer successfully transacting with the suspect using marked money.
During the subsequent search, police found five sachets of suspected shabu—including two large-sized ones—hidden in a black sling bag. Authorities estimate the total weight of the confiscated drugs to be approximately 175 grams.
The suspect is now under police custody and will be charged with violations of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (RA 9165).
