The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office continues to prove that its mandate goes beyond gaming as it reaffirms its commitment to compassion through its Corporate Social Responsibility program.
On 10 April 2025, PCSO Assistant General Manager for Charity Sector Arnel Casas formally turned over essential medical and mobility aids to Barangay Captain Felino R. Pabricio of Barangay Buenavista, Magdalena, Laguna. The ceremony was held at the PCSO Conservatory Building in Mandaluyong City.
The donation included 10 wheelchairs, 10 canes, 10 nebulizers, 10 blood pressure monitors, 10 thermal scanners and 10 glucometers. These are vital tools intended to improve the daily lives of senior citizens and persons with disabilities in the barangay.
Captain Pabricio expressed his gratitude for the support, highlighting its importance to the community. “This generous assistance will go a long way in helping our residents manage their health and mobility needs,” he said.
This initiative is part of the PCSO’s ongoing efforts to extend meaningful support to underserved communities across the country. It strengthens the agency’s role not only as a lottery organization but also as a steadfast partner in public service.
