The local government of Caloocan City launched the city’s fourth business one-stop shop, allowing business owners to settle their dues without going to the city hall.
On 21 April, Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan graced the shop’s launch, which is located on the 3rd floor of SM Sangandaan.
Caloocan City Public Information Officer Shaira Peniano said that among the services available to business owners are business registration, business permit renewal, and application for business occupancy, among others.
The SM Sangandaan branch is the fourth branch of the business hub, following the Zabarte Town Center Branch in Camarin, Metro Plaza in Bagong Silang, and Metro Plaza along Quirino Highway in Barangay 186.
“Actually, the opening of this branch will be helpful because business owners will no longer need to go to the city hall to settle their payments, and also, the city hall will be decongested because transactions here will be lessened,” Peniano said, noting that the Business Permits and Licensing Office of Caloocan City Hall will still accept payments.
During the launch, Malapitan shared that they are still in the process of developing Caloocan City as a business hub.
“Each year, we strive to do better—to make Caloocan a more business-friendly city than it was the year before. We remain committed to improving our services and streamlining business procedures for everyone.”
The Business One-Stop Shop in SM Sangandaan will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
