The League of Corporate Foundation’s (LCF) 2025 CSR Conference and Expo on 1 to 3 July will also recognize outstanding corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives of members and non-members.

As part of LCF’s commitment to elevating CSR excellence, the 2025 Guild Awards will honor outstanding initiatives of its members that have significantly impacted communities. These awards will be presented during the conference.

Additionally, the Medal of Recognition will celebrate the impactful interventions of non-LCF members. This special award acknowledges businesses and corporate foundations that have made a difference across seven thematic areas: Arts and culture, disaster resilience, education, environment, enterprise development, financial inclusion.

LCF is still accepting nominations for the two awards.

In last year’s edition of the CSR Guild Awards, BDO Foundation Inc. (BFI), the CSR arm of the BDO Unibank, was among the awardees for its pioneering financial education program for armed forces personnel.

BFI partnered with the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas to integrate financial education into the career courses of the Philippine Air Force, Army and Navy, benefiting more than 37,000 personnel nationwide.

Another awardee last year was Metro Pacific Investments Foundation (MPIF), whose 15-year-old environmental conservation program dubbed “Shore It Up!” was awarded the Most Outstanding CSR Project in Environment for its sustainable impact. Among the Shore It Up projects of MPIF were sustaining the UNESCO World Heritage Site Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park, rehabilitating the Mangrove Center in Del Carmen post-typhoon “Odette,” hosting of a multisectoral forum for environmental issues, and formalizing partnerships with local government units like Mabini, Batangas for marine conservation programs.
