Let us pray for our President!

He is not interested in taking credit. Quietly and without fanfare he wants to build more successes that are already happening. No part of our country will be neglected.

Most of us more than 115 million Filipinos are predominantly Christians. Our kinship with God grants us the most powerful gift of prayer. Let us utilize this gift for the good of our country and people.

And most specially, during this season, let us all pray for God’s mercy. Let us share this gift with President Bongbong Marcos, that he will be healthy and strong to love and serve all Filipinos with equity and justice.

At 12 o’clock Thursday, 30 June 2022, President Bongbong Marcos became the 17th President of the Republic of the Philippines.

One of the first things that came into his mind was about the farmers and the fisherfolk. Foremost on his mind was food security. He said, “The role of agriculture cries for urgent attention.

“Food is not just a trade commodity. Without it, people weaken and die, societies come apart. It is more than a livelihood, it is an existential imperative, and a moral one. Agriculture damaged by unfair competition will have a harder time or will have no prospects at all of recovering. Food sufficiency must get preferential treatment.”

With the foregoing in mind, he saw to it that in the first year of his administration, he went all out to build farm-to-market roads that by 31 December 2023, he was able to build 67,328.92 kilometers or 51 percent of the total farm-to-market roads planned for his six-year term in office.

The President also understood that health care had been left behind by the government.

“We won’t be caught unprepared, underequipped, and understaffed to fight another pandemic,” he said.

“Our nurses are the best in the world. They acquitted themselves with the highest distinction abroad, having suffered even the highest casualties. With the same exemplary dedication at home, they just got by. They are out there because we cannot pay them for the same risk and workload that we have back here. There will be changes starting immediately,” he vowed.

The President also had on his mind the roads and infrastructure that have been built so well and the economic benefits that the poor people on the farms and countryside derive as a result. And investors are now setting up industries that multiply and expand the progress to the farthest areas. And he visualizes the potential growth will not end here.

President Bongbong Marcos has a vision for the good of every Filipino, like his late father’s vision. He wants every young and able Filipino to continue to build, to complete on schedule the huge investments that have been actualized and the projects that have been started.

He is not interested in taking credit. Quietly and without fanfare he wants to build more successes that are already happening. No part of our country will be neglected. Progress will be made wherever there are Filipinos so no investment will be wasted.”

Apparently, President Bongbong Marcos is pleased with what the Supreme Court is doing. No less, the Filipinos are happy with the questions that the Honorable Justices are asking the economic managers.

Let us all pray for the Supreme Court to continue helping the President.
