The Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group (PNP-AVSEGROUP) reported Tuesday that a most wanted person from San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, was arrested at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 upon arrival from Abu Dhabi.
Authorities said the suspect was apprehended in a joint operation at the international arrival area by operatives from the District Intelligence Division of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO); the Aviation Security Unit NCR, FILD-Intelligence Group; and NAIA Police Station 3.
The arrest was made under multiple warrants dated 4 August 2023, for six counts of acts of lasciviousness in relation to Republic Act 7610, with a recommended bail of P180,000; three counts of rape; and two counts of lascivious conduct under Republic Act 7610, with a recommended bail of P200,000.
Authorities said that the accused is currently in the custody of the DID-QCPD-NCRPO for documentation and further legal proceedings.
PNP-AVSEGROUP director PBGen Christopher M. Abecia commended the officers involved in the operation.
“This arrest demonstrates the unwavering commitment of our intelligence and security forces to bring criminals to justice, no matter how long it takes or how far they flee,” Abecia said.
