Malaysia has repatriated Alan Dennis L. Sytin, a fugitive wanted for murder in the Philippines. Sytin, 51, a businessman from Greenhills, San Juan City, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport close to midnight on Friday.
He was promptly served a warrant of arrest by police officers from Region 3. Judge Caroline L. Tobias of Manila RTC Branch 7 ordered Sytin’s arrest with no bail.
Sytin was apprehended last 22 March by the Special Investigation Branch of the Petaling Jaya District Police at Cobra Rugby Club in Selangor for failure to present a valid travel document in violation of Malaysia’s Immigration Act.
This was after his Philippine passport was canceled on 12 September 2024.
