Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has officially opened a new dealership in Ilocos Sur, marking a significant step in the automotive giant’s expansion in Northern Luzon and reaffirming its commitment to mobility and economic growth in the region.

The opening of Toyota Ilocos Sur was celebrated as a milestone not only for the brand but for the province as well, as it brings both automotive services and economic opportunity closer to the community.

“To be able to witness our vision coming to life is truly an amazing feeling. This is not just the start of a new business for Toyota; the establishment of this facility is a clear reflection of your hard work and dedication,” said TMP President Masando Hashimoto during the opening.

Hashimoto added that the new dealership is expected to play a vital role in boosting the local economy while providing Toyota customers with access to high-quality vehicles and services.

Toyota Dagupan Group President Rene So echoed this sentiment, saying, “Today, we celebrate not just the opening of a new dealership but the beginning of a new chapter in Toyota’s commitment to serving the people of Ilocos Sur and beyond,”

He emphasized the company’s mission to "deliver happiness to every Filipino through mobility," assuring that the new dealership aims to be a trusted partner for customers by offering safe, reliable, and enjoyable driving experiences.

Located in a region known for its rich cultural heritage, Spanish-era architecture, and scenic coastal views, Toyota Ilocos Sur is positioned to serve the mobility needs of both local residents and tourists. The province is easily accessible via major routes such as the MacArthur Highway and Ilocos Sur–Cervantes Road. Vigan City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the area’s cultural hub, while the nearest airport in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, lies approximately two to three hours away.
