President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Friday paid tribute to farmers, fisherfolk, and food industry workers for their dedication in ensuring that food reaches every table.
“This month let us not forget that in each dish, there’s a hand that works hard to bring food to every table,” Marcos said in his speech at the national launch of Filipino Food Month.

“They are our farmers, fishermen, and those who are part of the food industry, including those who cook in eateries. Let us praise and thank them,” he said.
“Every dish is prepared with hard work and perseverance,” he added.
