New collagen injectable promises to zap undereye circles

From long hours of overtime to sleepless nights taking care of their kids and the natural effects of aging, there are countless reasons women face that cause dark under-eye circles. Also known as sunken eyes, these often appear dark or hollow due to causes such as aging and a decline in collagen, sleep loss, dehydration, and trauma.

Collagen is a protein that can be found in our skin, and gives it structure and strength. Yet as we age and go through our fast-paced, busy lives, we naturally lose collagen. As early as in our twenties, collagen begins to decline resulting in skin issues like fine lines, wrinkles, dull ski, and the dreaded panda circles.

Adequate sleep and a regular skincare routine with eye cream and sunscreen can help, but sometimes our skin needs more. A powerful collagen boost can give skin back its youthful, radiant appearance, and with Deusaderm Lido, it’s now possible to say goodbye to dark circles under the eyes.

Vanguard Aesthetics, together with collagen aesthetics global leader Sunmax Biotechnology, has brought the collagen injectable Deusaderm Lido to the Philippines.

The recent event, themed around the rare and pure essence of collagen, shimmered with a dazzling diamond motif, as the highly anticipated Deusaderm Lido was unveiled.

Leading the launch were Sunmax Biotech’s Magnet Lin, chairman, and Lin Ming-Yi, CEO; Ryan Ng, CEO of Vanguard Aesthetics; Dr. Wu Hsun Pai, medical director of Ladylike Aesthetic Group in Taiwan; Professor Li Yuan Hong, chief physician, doctoral supervisor of China Medical University; and Dr. Jonathan Nevin Yu of JY Dermatology and Aesthetic Philippines.

“After 22 years of tempering and growth, Sunmax, along with its partners and healthcare professionals, has been committed to providing the market with the highest quality and purest medical collagen. It has been recognized and trusted by overseas experts and the industry. Amidst eager anticipation in the market, Sunmax continues to expand its production capacity and increase output. Our expansion into the Philippines signifies a new chapter in our journey to redefine collagen aesthetics in Southeast Asia,” Lin Ming-Yi said.

Deusaderm Lido, an injectable collagen gel with lidocaine, is the newest injectable collagen-boosting solution intended for correction of contour deformities of the skin.

Designed for overall facial rejuvenation, it utilizes a formula highly similar to human collagen that is biocompatible and biodegradable, while effectively boosting skin elasticity, hydration, texture and volume. It is also a porcine-derived collagen dermal filler in the Philippines.

The injectable offers immediate results as early as one a week after your first injection. As explained by Dr. Wu Hsun Pai, “Deusaderm Lido seamlessly integrates with your skin, reducing wrinkles and refining contours for a more youthful appearance. As the collagen gradually breaks down into amino acids, it stimulates regeneration, improving skin texture, brightness and overall smoothness.”

With as much as 92 percent of patients seeing significant improvement as early as the first injection, it’s no wonder that Deusaderm LIDO has become so popular with over two million treatments performed. IT also does not require a change of any of your routines or skincare products.

“Deusaderm is purified from Specific Pathogen Free porcine using patented techniques, making it highly biocompatible and similar to human collagen. As a result, it typically causes no adverse side effects,” explains Prof. Li Yuan Hong.

Philippines’ own Dr. Yu highlights the effortlessly natural results of the treatment, saying, “Deusaderm Lido enhances the skin’s volume and contours while maintaining dynamic, natural-looking beauty.”

A session typically takes just 30 minutes, making it a quick and convenient solution for those who lead busy lives. With only 10 to 15 minutes of icing required post-treatment, patients can also return to their daily routines almost immediately. The effects of the full treatment which depends on the physician’s evaluation and the individual’s condition, last for around eight to 12 months.
