Kris Aquino has offered her followers an unfiltered look at the realities of an autoimmune flare-up. In a recent Instagram Reel, the Queen of All Media bravely shared photos and videos documenting the physical toll her lupus flare is currently taking.

The reel presents a raw portrayal of her experience, showing bruises across her body, noticeable red spots on her face, and a visibly thinner physique. One particularly telling clip showed her fever spiking to over 38 degrees Celsius, underscoring the intensity of her condition.

In her caption, Kris shared that she has been battling this lupus flare for "more than two weeks," adding, "This is MY NOW… I wanted you to see the pain and struggle so that you will continue to pray." Her vulnerability resonated deeply with her followers and the public.

The video also highlighted Kris’s support system. Doctors attended to her, while her devoted son, Bimby, was a constant presence, offering unwavering support.

The outpouring of support in the comments was immediate and heartfelt. Celebrities like Gary Valenciano, Iza Calzado, Cherry Pie Picache, and fashion designer Francis Libiran left messages of prayer and encouragement, demonstrating their deep affection for Kris.

This update comes after Kris's previous announcement about being diagnosed with a seventh autoimmune condition, Fibromyalgia. She had earlier received the good news that she was cleared of cancer.

Earlier this year, in February, Kris made a heartwarming public appearance at the People Asia People of the Year 2025 awards night, where she showed support for her friend, designer Michael Leyva. This event marked her first public outing amidst her ongoing health journey.

Kris Aquino's willingness to share such a personal and challenging aspect of her life serves as a powerful reminder of the realities faced by those living with autoimmune diseases. Her call for continued prayers highlights the ongoing nature of her battle and the importance of support and understanding.
