The much-anticipated and awaited annual Art in the Park at the Jaime Velasquez Park, Salcedo Village, Makati, which started at 10 a.m. and ended 12 hours later, had people still feeling “bitin.” There was a lot of good stuff, from art to food to the crowd — the fun just didn’t stop.

Consider shopping for a good cause where there was a variety of masterpieces worth your while. Since you support the art world you could greatly consider a purchase your yearly advocacy.

All inclusive, there were 61 exhibitors representing galleries, collectives and independent art spaces. Congratulations to the organizers and the team behind this cause. It was packed as always — even in the most tortuous hours of the day — but despite its challenges nothing beats an amazing art attack.

Art in the Park is organized by Philippine Art Events Inc. for the benefit of the Museum Foundation of the Philippines, with support from Globe and Bank of the Philippine Islands and partners MACEA, Barangay Bel Air, Chandon and the Museum Foundation of the Philippines.
