Thirty Filipinos who were repatriated from Cambodia arrived home safely Tuesday morning at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1.
Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Undersecretary Bernard Olalia and Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega welcomed them at around 3:41 a.m. onboard via Philippine Airlines flight PR733 from Bangkok, Thailand.
The government warns our fellow Filipinos not to fall for the promises of syndicates of high monthly salaries and to expedite their travel abroad for work.
The authorities stated that all 30 of the returning Filipinos were victims of human trafficking and that they had been rescued from an online love scam in Cambodia with the help of Myanmar authorities.
