BALANGA CITY, Bataan — The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has partnered with the female personnel of the Bataan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) in holding a livelihood training at the Post Conference Room inside the Camp PFC Cirilo S. Tolentino on Monday.
According to Provincial Director Police Col. Palmer Z. Tria, the Bread and Pastry Production-Pandesal Making livelihood training through a memorandum of agreement between TESDA and BPPO, and was led by female uniformed and non-uniformed personnel.
He added that the Bataan PNP and TESDA have been working together to provide livelihood opportunities for the police force. This partnership aims to support the government’s efforts to promote economic development and provide sustainable livelihoods for the people.
“Bataan PNP commends the TESDA-Bataan for conducting a livelihood program focused on the art of pandesal making for our officers. This initiative not only provides valuable skills and knowledge to our personnel but also empowers them with an opportunity to explore alternative sources of income,” he said.
He cited that by equipping police officers with livelihood skills such as pandesal making, this promotes their personal growth, enhance their well-being, and foster a sense of community engagement.
