Junior Altas enter Final Four

University of Perpetual Help System Dalta officially entered the Final Four after a 103-84 drubbing of Emilio Aguinaldo College in Season 100 of the National Collegiate Athletic Association juniors basketball tournament on Sunday at the EAC Gym.

JD Pagulayan led the Junior Altas with 21 points and four rebounds while Jericho Cristino and Lebron Jhames Daep had 17 points apiece as the Junior Altas remained on top of the standings with a 6-1 win-loss record.

A jumper by Jericho Cristino with 5:05 left in the fourth quarter gave Perpetual its most significant lead of the game at 20 points, 89-69.

Jan Roluna dropped 15 points, eight rebounds, and five assists for Perpetual as they now aim to clinch a twice-to-beat advantage with two games left in their elimination round campaign.

EJ Castillo led Brigadiers with 26 pts, seven rebounds, seven assists, and two steals in a losing effort.

The Junior Altas will next face San Sebastian College on 25 March before their much-anticipated rematch with defending champion Letran College on 31 March.
