The Palawan Group of Companies (PGC) welcomed Kapuso actress Marian Rivera as its newest brand ambassador.

PGC, which includes Palawan Pawnshop, Palawan Express and PalawanPay, proudly introduced Rivera as the newest face of the brand, with president and CEO Karlo Castro describing her as the embodiment of the company’s core values.

“Our chosen ambassador must reflect the company’s core values — someone who genuinely cares for Filipinos and the nation, has a proven track record, and is dependable. For us, Marian is the perfect choice,” Castro said in Filipino.

With her grace and unwavering commitment to uplifting communities, Rivera perfectly aligns with PGC’s mission to provide accessible and reliable financial services to Filipinos across the country.

Easier life

When selecting a brand ambassador, PGC’s Group Marketing head Bernard Kaibigan emphasized the importance of celebrities in building consumer trust and brand credibility.

“They help establish trust and confidence in our products. Their influence is crucial in making more Filipinos aware of Palawan’s services,” Kaibigan said.

During the event, Rivera shared how PalawanPay has been a lifesaver for her, allowing her to manage her finances efficiently despite her hectic schedule as a mother and celebrity.

“As a busy mom, I don’t have time to pay bills the traditional way. But with just a few taps, PalawanPay makes my life so much easier,” she said.
