Operatives of the Southern Police District Drug Enforcement Office (DDEU-SPD), in coordination with the District Intelligence Division (DID-SPD) and Sub-Station 7 of Pasay City Police Station, apprehended two High-Value Individuals (HVI) and one Street-Level Individual (SLI) for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The buy-bust operation occurred at approximately 10:35 PM on 17 March 2025, at 491 River Side Street, Barangay Maricaban, Pasay City.
The suspects were identified as alias "Carlo," a 28-year-old male delivery rider; alias "Eduardo," a 47-year-old male e-bike driver; and alias "Ma. Fe," a 23-year-old unemployed female.
Led by PMaj. Cecilio G. Tomas Jr. of DDEU-SPD, with assistance from DID-SPD personnel, the operation resulted in a poseur-buyer successfully purchasing a knot-tied transparent plastic sachet containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu from alias "Carlo."
Following the transaction, he was arrested, and a procedural body search led to the recovery of the buy-bust money. A search of alias "Eduardo" resulted in the confiscation of another sachet containing approximately 50 grams of suspected shabu.
The total weight of the seized illegal drugs was approximately 100 grams, with an estimated street value of P680,000.
The suspects are currently detained at the Pasay City Police Station, with charges for violating Sections 5, 11, and 26 of ra 9165 being prepared for inquest proceedings.
