After acquiring AirSWIFT for P1.75 billion, Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced that all flights of the boutique airline will transition to CEB’s system effective 24 March 2025. The integration expands the low-cost carrier’s route network to include popular tourist spots like El Nido, Palawan.
According to CEB, passengers with active AirSWIFT reservations are advised to get ready for several key transition dates that could affect their travel arrangements. 24 March is the most important date because it marks the official start of all AirSWIFT flights operating under Cebu Pacific’s system at 12 p.m.
Starting at 6 p.m. on 21 March 2025, AirSWIFT’s online check-in portal will be temporarily inaccessible. Passengers who have not checked in prior to 23–24 March must do so at the airport on the day of their departure.
Travelers are encouraged to complete their AirSWIFT reservations before 6p.m. on 23 March since the website will be undergoing maintenance and full features will not be available after this time. Only at the airport may reservations be made for flights departing on 24 March.
On 25 March, passengers will start getting revised itinerary receipts from CEB that include their new booking reference numbers. These new login credentials will be used for online check-in and reservation management on the airline’s website and mobile app.
CEB states that passengers on AirSWIFT flights leaving on 24 March must present their original booking information and legitimate identification when checking in at airport counters. With their new Cebu Pacific booking reference numbers, passengers can use self-service kiosks for flights leaving on or after 25 March.
The airline guarantees that this move will not result in any additional fees, according to the FAQ section of the assistance page.
Bookings and transactions made prior to 24 March will be subject to AirSWIFT’s original terms and conditions; any modifications made on or after that date will be subject to amended terms and conditions that provide more flexibility.
Go Rewards points can be earned on AirSWIFT flights booked through C3B’s platforms beginning on 24 March after the switch. To get these perks, travelers simply input their Go Rewards number while making reservations or checking in online.
Eventually, passengers will also gain access to the airline’s add-on services, though some features like CEB Meals may be temporarily unavailable immediately after the transition.
