The 38th PMPC Star Awards for Television has unveiled a highly anticipated partial list of winners, recognizing the most outstanding television programs and personalities of 2024.
The prestigious event promises a night of glitz, glamour, and heartfelt tributes to the brightest stars of Philippine television, along with the hardworking production teams behind the country’s top programs.
This year’s awards will pay tribute to Gloria Romero, who will receive a posthumous honor as one of the Icons of Philippine Television in recognition of her unparalleled contributions and lasting legacy.
Meanwhile, Janice de Belen, known for her versatility as an actress and host, will be honored with the Ading Fernando Lifetime Achievement Award. Julius Babao, a veteran journalist recognized for his fearless investigative reporting, will receive the Excellence in Broadcasting Lifetime Achievement Award.
The PMPC Hall of Fame will also induct the long-running investigative program "I-Witness" from GMA, acknowledging its groundbreaking contributions to Philippine journalism.
Adding to the excitement, the German Moreno Power Tandem Award will be presented to:

The grand awards night will take place at the Dolphy Theater on 23 March, 2025 (Sunday) at 7 PM, hosted by Alden Richards, Kim Chiu, and Piolo Pascual.
Viewers can expect electrifying performances, including an explosive opening number by Julie Anne San Jose, Christian Bautista, Kai Montinola, and Jarren Garcia (Pinoy Big Brother). A heartfelt tribute to Gloria Romero will be led by Concert King Martin Nievera, while Jed Madela and the Eat Bulaga Singing Queens will deliver a spectacular closing performance.
The most awaited seven major awards — Best TV Station, Best Drama Actress, Best Drama Actor, Best Supporting Drama Actress, Best Supporting Drama Actor, Best Male TV Host, and Best Female TV Host — will be announced live during the ceremony.
Fans across the country can watch the 38th PMPC Star Awards for Television when it airs on A2Z on 25 April (Saturday) at 10:30 PM.
This grand celebration is produced by Airtime Marketing Philippines, led by Tess Celestino-Howard, and directed by Eric Quizon.
