Police in San Fernando, Pampanga arrested two suspected carnappers on 14 March 2025, along JASA Road in Barangay Dolores. According to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), the incident occurred around 6:30 PM, leading to the apprehension of 34-year-old Reden of Brgy. Balingasay, Bolinao, Pangasinan, and 44-year-old Ryan of Brgy. Arnedo Tinomorong, Bolinao, Pangasinan.
The 21-year-old victim, identified only as Migs, said he was accosted by the two armed suspects, who forcibly took his black Toyota Land Cruiser registered to Makati City man. The suspects allegedly pointed a firearm at Migs, who attempted to stop them by reaching through the driver’s side window. He was dragged as they sped off, sustaining an injury to his left arm.
A motorcycle rider who witnessed the incident immediately alerted nearby police officers stationed along Lazatin Boulevard. With assistance from SWAT personnel in the area, the officers gave chase and intercepted the stolen vehicle in heavy traffic. The suspects were subsequently placed under custody.
