Online registration for the 2025 digitalized and localized Bar examinations will close at 3 p.m. on Monday, 17 March, the Supreme Court announced on Saturday.

The exams will be held across various local testing centers (LCTs) nationwide on 7, 10 and 14 September. SC Associate Justice Amy C. Lazaro-Javier will chair the 2025 Bar Examinations Committee.

The Bar exam fee is P12,800 per applicant, which is non-refundable.

Online applications opened on 8 January 2025, through the BARISTA platform, which can be accessed via the Philippine Judiciary Platform (PJP) at https://portal.judiciary.gov.ph/. Applicants must first create a PJP account using their personal email address. This is important as applicants must not use their school or work email address, even if they are employed within the Philippine Judiciary. Previous Bar exam takers who used the Bar PLUS platform for the 2020/2021 and 2022 exams must create a new PJP account.

Once applicants successfully log in, they need to select the BARISTA icon and complete their profile and application details. The BARISTA platform requires applicants to upload certain documentary requirements. These will vary depending on whether the applicant is a New Applicant, a Previous Taker, or a Refresher. Documentary requirements must be uploaded in the correct format and must also be submitted in original or certified true copies to the Office of the Bar Confidant.

After completing the application and uploading the necessary documents, applicants are required to pay the exam fee of P12,800. Payment must be made exclusively through the payment channel provided in BARISTA.
