If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to drive a Tesla, there’s an interesting opportunity in Metro Manila right now. Tesla has brought its “Drive to Believe” challenge to the Philippines, giving everyday drivers a chance to experience life behind the wheel of a Model 3 electric car for three days.
This isn’t a new concept — Tesla has been running this kind of challenge around the world since 2016 — but it’s finally here in Metro Manila. The idea is simple: Tesla wants people to see firsthand how driving electric actually feels.
Here’s how it works: Anyone interested can schedule a test drive at Tesla Centre in Bonifacio Global City until 31 March 2025. After your test drive, you’ll need to answer two simple but thoughtful questions on Tesla’s website: “What is the most exciting feature of a Tesla to you, and why?” and “Where would you visit in Metro Manila if you won the challenge?”
Tesla will then pick two winners with the most interesting answers. These winners will get to swap their current gasoline-powered cars for a Tesla Model 3 for three full days.
There are some basic rules: participants need to be at least 25 years old, have held a valid driver’s license for at least two years and standard terms and conditions will apply.
If you’re curious about electric driving and want a break from your usual commute, this could be worth trying. You can sign up directly on Tesla’s website.
In case you’re considering making the switch permanently, the Model 3 comes in three different versions here in the Philippines: the Rear-wheel drive starts at P2,109,000, the Long Range at P2,489,000, and the Performance model at P3,099,000.
The Model 3 is available to order on Tesla’s official website: https://www.tesla.com/en_ph/model3/design.
