Being the ambassador of the brand you love growing up is a full circle moment for Anne Curtis-Smith.

The Filipino-Australian actress is recently named as the first ambassador of the home and lifestyle label Anko, an Australian brand that offers stylish yet practical pieces that elevate any Filipino home.

“Anne is the perfect match for Anko — a mom, actress and entrepreneur who effortlessly balances family and career while creating a home that is both stylish and functional. Just like Anko, she believes that great design should be beautiful, practical and accessible to all,” Rachel Turner, country manager of Anko, said.

Condo takeover

Alveo Land’s Mergent Residences model unit, situated in its Greenbelt 3 Makati showroom, hosted a condo takeover event to introduce Anko’s most recent Home Living collection.

Designed with “functional elegance” in mind, the collection reflects a growing preference for practical yet stylish interiors, all embodying the brand’s commitment: “Bagay sa ‘yo, bagay sa bahay mo, at bagay sa buhay mo (Anko matches you, your home and your lifestyle).”

It takes pride in selecting a collection that offers classic pieces that will endure throughout time in addition to cutting-edge international trends. Every piece is made to be easily livable, from whimsical patterns that add personality to marble dining sets that elevate the table.

For a customized, cozy haven, the breathable Australian cotton bedding comes in a variety of color options. It is now simpler than ever to create a beautiful, clutter-free home thanks to their introduction of multipurpose storage solutions, such as modular linen-look organizers that keep necessities neat in any room.

Anko partnered with Australian interior designer Nicole Rosenberg, founder of Melbourne-based Liberty Interiors, to design the condo space using Anko products.

She shared easy, expert-approved ways to create a beautiful and functional home.

Whether it’s adding warmth to a living room, optimizing storage in a small space, or refreshing an entire home, Anko has something for every home and lifestyle,” Rosenberg said.

The collection features thoughtfully crafted pieces such as the Ribbed Faux Fur Throw, U Shape Blue Vase, Dune Small Bowl and fragrant candles, proving that great design can be accessible and affordable.

Turner also hinted at the upcoming launch of Anko’s third store, set to open in a Quezon City mall later this year.
