The Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA) Golf Cup 2025 is set to return for its third edition on 27 March at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong City.
The event will bring together top executives, developers, and industry leaders from the real estate sector for a day of friendly competition and valuable networking opportunities.
As a much-awaited annual tradition, the SHDA Golf Cup has become a premier event for key stakeholders in the housing and real estate industries.
The Double Peoria scoring system will be used to create a fair and competitive environment for players of all skill levels. The new system evaluates performance across 12 selected holes rather than six, ensuring that both experienced golfers and casual participants can compete on equal footing.
In addition to the new format, the tournament will feature an exclusive grand prize — an impressive 24.96-square-meter Mille Case Residences condominium unit in Muntinlupa City, provided by Noble Home, awarded to the winner of a designated hole-in-one.
“We are thrilled to host the SHDA Golf Cup again this year,” said SHDA president Engr. Francis Villegas. “This event is more than just a golf tournament; it’s an opportunity to strengthen the relationships that drive the real estate industry forward. The revamped game format will ensure a more enjoyable and competitive experience for all participants.”
SHDA chairman Arch. Leonardo Dayao Jr. highlighted the broader impact of the event, stating, “Beyond the competition, the SHDA Golf Cup fosters collaboration between developers, financial institutions, and policymakers, reinforcing our shared commitment to sustainable housing development.”
The registration fee is P9,500, which covers green fees, a shared golf cart, breakfast, lunch, giveaways, raffle entry, and a Mulligan Shot fee of P500. Non-golfers are welcome to attend the luncheon and awards program for P4,500.
One of the event’s highlights will be the introduction of the Grand Master Trophy, along with special awards in various categories.
Distinguished guests, including Mandaluyong Mayor Benjamin Abalos Sr., Philippine Guarantee Corporation President Alberto Pascual, SHDA Chairman Arch. Leonardo Dayao Jr. and SHDA president Engr. Francis Villegas, will be present for the ceremonial tee-off, underscoring the event’s importance in fostering public-private sector partnerships.
