In a bid to solidify support for the administration, the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas (ABP) is set to hold a campaign rally in Pili, Camarines Sur, Friday afternoon, with President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. joining the slate.

Camarines Sur, home to over 1.5 million voters, is considered a key battleground for the administration’s candidates.

Alyansa campaign manager and Navotas City Representative Toby Tiangco highlighted the province’s economic strength, expanding population, and pivotal role in national politics as crucial factors behind their decision to prioritize the area in their campaign efforts.

During the rally, Alyansa candidates are expected to present their proposals aimed at supporting farmers, fisherfolk, and local industries. Their plans will focus on rural development, food security, and infrastructure projects designed to foster economic growth.

Before traveling to Camarines Sur, President Marcos will first attend the National Nutrition Council’s awarding ceremony in Quezon City, which honors outstanding local government units for their effective implementation of nutrition programs.

The event marks the launch of the NNC’s nationwide initiatives to promote health and nutrition across the country.
