In the heart of Makati, Ayala Land’s Circuit Makati stands as a testament to the transformative power of art and culture.

This vibrant district, strategically positioned to serve as the city’s arts and culture hub, goes beyond just providing venues — it fosters creativity, collaboration and artistic expression. Through a blend of world-class infrastructure, community-driven programs and a focus on Filipino talent, Circuit Makati is rapidly becoming a cornerstone in the Philippines’ cultural scene.

Master-planned to be the home of world-class venues for various artistic disciplines, from visual arts to performing arts, Circuit Makati boasts many iconic landmarks and efforts such as the Samsung Performing Arts Theater, Black Box Theater, CityFlats Circuit Makati, and the Artist in Residence Program.

While the Samsung Performing Arts Theater showcases major productions such as Broadway musicals, the Black Box Theater offers an adjustable format for boutique productions and even experimental theater.

Beyond the stage, the estate extends support to artists through the CityFlats Circuit Makati, a co-living space with exclusive discounts for performers; as well as the Artist Residence Program, which provides budding talents with mentorship, workspace and opportunities to present their work to a wider audience.

One of Circuit Makati’s flagship initiatives is the Artist in Residence Program, which was launched to provide artists with the tools and support they need to hone their craft. The program offers a mix of accommodations, stipends, mentorship, and access to premier venues for public exhibitions. This initiative aims to showcase the diverse artistic talent in the Philippines, providing a platform for local artists to exhibit their work to larger audiences.

Since its launch in 2024, the Artist in Residence Program has expanded to include a wide range of disciplines, including photography (in collaboration with Fotomoto), choreography, and creative advertising.

The Contemporary Arts Center by Ayala Foundation will serve as a space dedicated to new forms of artistic expression. Envisioned as an experimental platform, it will encourage artists to explore innovative concepts. From visual arts and immersive installations to digital art, film, and interactive experiences, the center will showcase a full palette of modern and contemporary creativity.

It is set to open in 2027.
