The Southern Police District (SPD) recognized the outstanding contributions of its police stations in combating criminality, highlighting their collective effort and commitment to public safety.
During the SPD Command Conference on 4 March 2025, led by District Director Police Brigadier General Manuel J. Abrugena at the SPD Headquarters on Lawton Avenue, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, several police stations were awarded certificates of commendation for exceptional law enforcement achievements from 1 September 2024 to 28 February 2025.
Parañaque City Police Station was commended for its exceptional crime prevention efforts, achieving the highest increase in crime solution efficiency (91.49 percent), leading SPD’s crackdown on loose firearms, and playing a key role in Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO). They arrested 78 individuals for illegal firearm possession and made significant arrests during SACLEO operations.
Las Piñas City Police Station was recognized for apprehending 60 individuals from SPD’s Top Ten Most Wanted Persons list. Their efforts during SACLEO operations led to the capture of high-value suspects, enhancing security in the city.
Muntinlupa City Police Station recorded the highest crime reduction rate (24.44 percent) and successfully executed search warrant operations, seizing eight firearms and 100 grams of shabu valued at P680,000.00.
Pasay City Police Station led SPD in executing warrants of arrest, apprehending 388 wanted individuals. They also excelled in anti-illegal gambling operations, conducting 282 raids that resulted in 928 arrests and the confiscation of P141,342.00 in bet money.
Taguig City Police Station was the top performer in SPD’s anti-drug campaign, executing 570 operations that led to the arrest of 762 individuals and the confiscation of illegal drugs, including 5,951.93 grams of shabu, 291.10 grams of marijuana, 41.4 grams of kush, and 3.83 grams of cocaine, with a total Standard Drug Price (SDP) value of Php 40,900,955.00.
Makati City Police Station was commended for a successful anti-drug operation that resulted in the confiscation of approximately 1,300 grams of shabu, valued at Php 8,840,000.00. Their efforts significantly disrupted illegal drug activities.
Pateros Municipal Police Station was recognized for its strong community engagement and proactive law enforcement strategies, contributing to a significant crime reduction and strengthening public trust.
