The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) distributed 1,000 food buckets, known as Charitimba, to residents of Malolos, Bulacan on Wednesday, 26 February 2025, at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center.
PCSO Board Member Jennifer Guevara and PCSO Bulacan Branch Assistant Manager Elmer Camba led the distribution, in collaboration with Malolos City Councilor John Vincent Vitug III.
On behalf of the city government, Councilor Vitug expressed his gratitude, saying, “We, the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Malolos, under the leadership of Mayor Atty. Christian Natividad and Vice Mayor Miguel Alberto Bautista, are deeply thankful to PCSO for their donation of 1,000 Charitimbas to our residents. We also thank President Bongbong Marcos Jr. for his dedication to delivering compassionate and loving service to the people.”
In addition to the food buckets, PCSO also provided educational grants to 20 college students in Malolos.
The initiative is part of the PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which aims to support various sectors of society, promoting inclusive development and gender-responsive public service.
