In a bid to tackle future ready cities, the Philippine Institute of Architects, Inc. (PIA) announced its 92nd Annual Convention – ONE PIA 2025, themed “Cities: Past and Future – Baguio and the North,” featuring plenary sessions, workshops, a golf tournament, and an exclusive honor dinner.

Happening from 6 to 8 March 2025 at the Baguio Convention Center, ONE PIA 2025 will highlight how architects and planners can creatively revitalize the beauty of Philippine cities while preserving culture and traditions for future generations.

“Architects play a crucial role in shaping our cities by blending innovation with heritage preservation,” said a PIA spokesperson. “This event serves as a platform for thought leaders to discuss sustainable solutions for urban growth while celebrating the unique cultural identity of the North.”

On the other hand, ARCHIFEST 2025 will take place at Camp John Hay, Open Field (Booth #3 to 6) from 10 AM to 6 PM as part of the three-day convention. Baguio City vice mayor Faustino Olowan is invited as a special guest.

The exhibition will also feature Fleuresse, a premium bedding brand under the German-based DIERIG Group, known for its sustainable and high-quality textiles.

With over 200 years of textile expertise, Fleuresse continues to set industry standards with its plastic-free packaging, innovative fabric technologies, and exquisite craftsmanship.

The ONE PIA 2025 convention and ARCHIFEST 2025 will bring together leading architects, urban planners, and industry experts to explore the future of design and sustainable living.
